I think dogs and kids are essential to her books. Nevertheless, I liked this book very much and it is sure that this is one of Ms. This is why I didn't and couldn't rate this book as 5-star. It is understandable that she backed off but I wanted her to keep faith in herself.

It seemed she cared about Isaiah's future and I am sure that she did but rather, she didn't want to suffer another prejudice and a lack of understanding, I think. So I didn't want her to give in to a stupid, shallow, unfair opinion of someone other than she really loved and trusted. She never stops enjoying her life and challenging difficulties. I was so impressed with Laura that she had started her life anew, without clinging to her lost achievement both the last time reading and this time listening. I am very glad that it is now available in Audible now and I finished listening to it. I read a translated printed version several years ago and I remember I was pretty disappointed because there wasn't an audio version in Audible then.
